Former Minister Mudragada Padmanabham wrote a letter to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. In the letter, Mudragada Padmanabham asked to focus on the answer given by the Union Minister that the judgment given by the Supreme Court, reservations should be implemented  by the states. Mudragada asked in the letter to look into the reservations. In the letter, it is mentioned that the Kapu tribe worked hard for your victory in the majority of the constituencies in the 2019 elections, and it would be good if reservation is given to the Kapu tribe. Kapus are useful for your victory.

He wrote: The People considered Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao and  YS Rajasekhara Reddy as a god. Mudragada Padmanabha wrote a letter saying, “I want you to do good to the poor communities.”

He asked in the letter-  I have no intention of troubling you except for the quest for my race, thinking of making reservations and asking for justice for the poor Kapus. A few days ago Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Pratima Bhowmik said that the state governments can prepare their own lists to provide reservations to socially and economically backward classes. He has now given a written answer to a question asked by MP GVL Narasimha Rao in the Rajya Sabha. It has been explained that no central government permission is required to provide OBC reservation to any caste.
