After welcoming Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal’s twins, Ambani family have now formally welcomed their youngest to be daughter-in-law. RIL- Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani‘s son Anant Ambani got engaged to Radhika Merchant on Thursday. The couple had a traditional roka ceremony at Shrinathji Temple in Rajasthan’s Nathdwara.
Several images from the engagement ceremony have circulated online. On this occasion, Anant wore a blue kurta that he paired with the embroidered jacket, whereas Radhika looked beautiful in saree.
Radhika Merchant is the daughter of the industrialist Viren Merchant, CEO of the pharmaceutical manufacturing company.
Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani have known each other for quite long. Ambani family too have known Radhika Merchant for quite some time. Earlier in the month of June this year, Ambanis hosted a grand function at the Jio World Centre for Radhika’s ‘arangetram’ – a dancer’s formal completion of the training and to perform on the stage. Radhika is trained in Bharatnatyam for eight long years under the tutelage of Guru Bhavana Thakar.
Radhika Merchant is on Board of Directors of Encore Healthcare. On the otherside, Anant Ambani is currently leading the energy business of Reliance Industries.
Anant Ambani is an alumnus of the Brown University in US and Radhika is a graduate of New York University.
