It is known news that the Tamil actor Samuthirakani is playing the crucial role in director SS Rajamouli’ upcoming movie RRR, which also stars Jr NTR, Ram Charan and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles, and it is being bankrolled by DVV Danayya. Samuthirakani also played the important role in Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja and Shruti Haasan starrer action thriller drama Krack, which was released on 9th January. Recently during the media interaction, as a part of promotional activities of Krack, Samuthirakani talked about his role in RRR.
Tamil actor Samuthirakani revealed how he got the role in RRR. According to him, his role in SS Rajamouli’ RRR is a result of their 11 years old friendship. Rajamouli is very close to Samuthirakani and the director texted him after watching the movie Naadodigal and showered praises on him.
RRR starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR is set in the 1920s. Samuthirakani will be seen in retro look with long hair in RRR, which is a big budget film. Roudram Ranam Rudhiram aka RRR also features Shriya Saran, Ajay Devgn, Olivia Morris, Samuthirakani, Alison Doody and Ray Stevenson in the crucial roles.
Samuthirakani will also be seen playing a crucial role in versatile actor Kamal Haasan’s ‘ Indian 2’.
