Prabhas is working with Radha Krishna Kumar’s upcoming romantic comedy entertainer. According to the latest buzz in the film Industry, the upcoming film is inspired from Korean movie My Sassy Girl. Pooja Hegde who is basking in the glory of her recent offering Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava, is playing the love interest of Prabhas.
My Sassy Girl is a South Korean romantic comedy film directed by Kwak Jae-yong, in which Jun Ji-hyun and Cha Tae-hyun, played the lead role. The film is based on a true story told in a series of blog posts written by Kim Ho-sik, who later adapted them into the fictional novel. My Sassy Girl was the highest grossing Korean comedy of all time.
The sources close to Radha Krishna Kumar said that he was adding some vintage touch to this upcoming film.
Amit Trivedi is on the board to compose the tunes for this flick, with Manoj Pramahamsa is handling the cinematography department. The film is produced jointly by UV creations and Gopi Krishna movies.
After wrapping SS Rajamouli’s historic and war drama Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, Prabhas joined the sets of Sujeeth Reddy’s upcoming bilingual action thriller Saaho, with Shraddha Kapoor as the leading lady. Neil Nitin Mukesh is playing the chief antagonist. Apart from them, the film has other Bollywood actors like Jackie Shroff, Chunky Pandey, Tinnu Anand, Mahesh Manjrekar and Mandira Bedi in supporting roles.
Touted as the second most expensive film ever made in India, Saaho has been shot in Hyderabad, Mumbai, Abu Dhabi, Romania and Europe. The big budget entertainer is co-produced by UV Creations and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. On the occasion of Prabhas’s birthday, the makers of ‘Saaho’ released a video titled ‘Shades of Saaho’, which went viral. The movie will hit the theaters on 15th August 2019 on the occasion of Independence Day.
