  • Second Half

Performance: Allu Arjun is excellent  in the role of angry soldier Surya. His body language is natural. Bunny has excelled in realistic action sequences and brought believability. Anu Emmanuel as Varsha  is very glamorous and does her part with perfection. Rao Ramesh does his job with perfection.  Vennela Kishore gets an entertaining role.  Arjun Sarja as a psychology professor performs well.  Boman Irani, Nadhiya, Charu Hassan, Sharath Kumar, Pradeep Rawat and othes  did their part well.

Technical: The  content of Naa Peru Surya  is strong. The writer Vakkantham Vamsi  has turned director for the first time in his career  with Naa Peru Surya and he did not disappoint the audiences.  He himself written  the storyline.  Music by  Vishal-Shekharis excellent. Background score is realistic and is of high standards. Cinematography by  Rajeev Ravi and Susheel Chowdary is pleasing to eyes. Dialogues deserve a special mention. Post-production quality is first-rate. Action sequences are executed properly.  Production values of Rama Lakshmi cine creations are outstanding. Editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is alright.

Analysis:  First half of Naa Peru Surya is nice with a good narration and an interesting screenplay. Second half lacks the engaging value.  The plus points are the presence of Allu Arjun, storyline,  screenplay, cinematography and music. Vakkantham Vamsi should be appreciated for a brave attempt . On a whole, Naa Peru Surya has good commercial orientation with nice mix of  patriotism, action sequences and romantic angle. It has potential to work well at box office!
