After the debacle of the action thriller Saaho, Prabhas has been extremely careful in choosing his upcoming movies. Mirchi star listened to a lot of scripts and later finalized Nag Ashwin’ directorial venture and made an official announcement regarding this project on 28th February. Touted to be a science fiction drama, Nag Ashwin’ film also has Bollywood top actress Deepika Padukone as a leading lady. Later Nag Ashwin made an official announcement regarding the inclusion of Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan aka Big B.
After this announcement, there has been no update on this ambitious pan-India film of Prabhas for more than a month. Recently Nag Ashwin interacted with fans and the movie lovers, he promised Prabhas’ fans that he would be giving an update on the movie post Sankranthi festival. Currently Nag Ashwin is busy in the preproduction work of this science fiction drama, which is bankrolled by his father-in-law Ashwini Dutt.
Earlier during the media interaction, Nag Ashwin had revealed that it’s an original script and not a remake or biopic. According to the producer, Prabhas and Deepika Apdukone starrer film is a golden opportunity for him to cement the place in the annals of Indian Cinema history.
Meanwhile Prabhas will also be seen in Radha Krishna Kumar’ Radhe Shyam, in which Pooja Hegde is playing the female lead.
