In a major drug bust in the upmarket Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, police conducted a raid on a star hotel and seized cocaine in the wee hours of Sunday. Naga Babu’ daughter Niharika Konidela, and the winner of the third season of the controversial reality show Big Boss Telugu Rahul Sipliguni, Guntur MP Galla Jayadev’s son daughter of AP Public Service Commission Chairman and A.P.’s former DGP, Gautam Sawang were among 150 persons, besides the hotel staff were brought to Banjara Hills police station. The reports are coming that the officials also recovered different kinds of drugs such as cocaine and weed from the premises. Now Naga Babu released an official statement, responding to his daughter, Niharika Konidela’ detainment by the Hyderabad police.
Naga Babu released a video and clarified that his daughter Niharika has been found clean and that she just happened to be at the pub at the time when the task force raided. Niharika was present at a pub in a five star hotel last night and the police have nabbed the management of running the pub beyond the permitted timings.
Naga Babu concluded it by saying that the police said, “ Niharika is clean and she has nothing to do with the drugs that were recovered.”
Naga Babu appealed to everyone to stop spreading such baseless rumors regarding his daughter Niharika.
