Naga Babu, the brother of Megastar Chiranjeevi and Power Star Pawan Kalyan, has opened up about the wedding of his doting daughter Niharika Konidela. Recently Naga Babu attended an interview with a popular media house and said that Niharika Konidela would tie the knot in near future.
Naga Babu said that he had already started the search of a right man for his daughter Niharika. He added that before she stepped in Telugu film Industry, he had informed her that he would get her married within 2-3 years. And she was also happy with his decision.
Naga Babu also said that he would be happy if his prospective son-in-law hailed from the Kapu community and that he would be more than happy to get his daughter Niharika Konidela married outside his caste as well.
In 2017, there were a buzz in the film industry that Niharika Konidela would tie the knot with Sai Dharam Tej. The reports said that the duo had been seeing each other for a while, and that their family had given their relationship the nod. But later Sai Dharam Tej refuted the rumor. Sai Dharam Tej and Niharika are cousin. Megastar Chiranjeevi’s sister Vijaya Durga is Sai Dharam’s mother, while his brother Naga Babu is Niharika’s father.
Naga Babu also talked about Niharika’ s filmy career and said,” I gave her permission to act in movies because it was her dream to act in films. I had even suggested Niharika to act in web series. Now, I will get her married soon.”
Niharika Konidela made her debut with the film Oka Manasu, which was released in 2016, in which Naga Shaurya played the lead role. Later she made her Tamil debut with Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren. She will be next seen in upcoming movie Suryakantam, which is in post-production stage.
