Karthika Nair is well known face for the Telugu people as she made her debut in Tollywood with the film Josh, in which Akkineni Naga Chaitanya played the lead role and the movie was released in 2009. She has shared the screen space with Young Tiger Jr NTR in action drama Dammu. According to the latest update, Karthika Nair has been charged around Rs 1 lakh electricity bill for the month of June.
This news is confirmed by the actress herself as she wrote on Twitter, “So what kind of scam is Adani Electricity conducting in Mumbai? June electricity bill close to 1 lakh. Hearing lots of similar complaints from Mumbai people.” The people, who faced similar issues, are coming in the support of the actress Karthika Nair.
Karthika Nair got one lakh bill for the month of June during this lockdown period. There was no meter reading and the electricity department officials prepared the bill based on the estimates. Many people on social media are complaining about fake electricity bills with unfair amounts.
Recently the actor Prasanna had also lashed out at Tangedco and said that they were fleecing customers with the heavy bills. But later Tangedco explained that Prasanna had not paid the bill for a month and the existing one was added in the new bill.
