NC22 marks Naga Chaitanya’ first Telugu-Tamil bilingual movie, which will be directed by Venkat Prabhu. The upcoming film will also mark Chay’ Tamil debut. Now the reports are coming that the makers are in plans to rope in Sakshi Vaidya as the female lead in Naga Chaitanya starrer.
It is known that Sakshi Vaidya is making her Telugu debut with the spy thriller drama Agent which has Akhil Akkineni as the lead and it is being helmed by Surender Reddy of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy fame. If Sakshi Vaidya gives her nod, she will be seen romancing with Naga Chaitanya in Venkat Prabhu’ magnum opus NC22.
Srinivasaa Chitturi of Srinivasaa Silver Screen is bankrolling the yet-to-be-titled film whereas Yuvan Shankar Raja will compose the music for this film.
As of now, Chay is busy shooting for his debut OTT show Dhoota in the direction of Vikram K Kumar of Hello and Manam fame. The web series will stream on Amazon Prime Video. On the work front, Naga Chaitanya is awaiting the release of Thank You which has Avika Gor and Raashi Khanna in the female lead.
Majili actor also has Hindi film Laal Singh Chaddha in the pipeline, which co-stars actors B town top actor Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor in the lead.
