Kabir Khan’ directorial venture 83 is one of the most anticipated films in 2020 as it is based on India’s World Cup victory in 1983. Ranveer Singh is on the board to play the role of former cricketer Kapil Dev whereas Deepika Padukone will be seen playing Kapil Dev’ wife Romi Bhatia. Now according to the latest update, Kamal Haasan and Nagarjuna Akkineni will be presenting the Tamil and Telugu versions of 83 in Tamil Nadu and the Telugu speaking states.
The film 83 also has Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jiiva, Saqib Saleem, Nishant Dahiya, Harrdy Sandhu, Sahil Khattar, Jatin Sarna, Chirag Patil, Dinker Sharma, Ammy Virk, Addinath Kothare, Dhairya Karwa, R Badree and Pankaj Tripathi in key role. Pankaj Tripathi is playing the role of manager PR Man Singh, Ammy Virk will be seen as Balwinder Singh Sandhu, Saahil Khattar as Syed Kirmani and Tahir Bhasin in the role of Sunil Gavaskar in this upcoming much hyped film 83.
Ranveer Singh starrer 83 just got bigger after South stars Kamal Haasan and Nagarjuna Akkineni joined hands with Kabir Khan for the movie. The movie 83 will be releasing in Tamil and Telugu languages as well, Kamal Haasan and Nagarjuna will be presenting ’83 in Tamil and Telugu version respectively. This announcement was made by producers Phantom Films on the social media.
Indian 2 star Kamal Haasan that he was quite excited to present the Tamil version of 83 and he added, “I am happy to bring to my people the story of the team of inspired men captained by Kapil Dev who fought against all odds and won India’s greatest sporting triumph.”
