Recently during the media interaction, Nagarjuna said that his next upcoming film with Natural star Nani’s in the direction of Sri Ram Aditya, will be similar to Hirani’s Munnabhai MBBS. According to Nagarjuna, he entered ‘Munnabhai’ territory. The sources say that Nagarjuna will play gangster whereas Nani will play doctor. The upcoming drama is bankrolled by Veteran producer Ashwini Dutt under the banner of Vyjayanthi Movies. Rashmika Mandanna and Akanksha Singh are playing the female lead roles.
Rajkumar Hirani’s directorial venture Munna Bhai MBBS, starring Sanjay Dutt, Gracy Singh and Arshad Warsi, was released in 2003, and was blockbuster at the box office. In 2004, during an event in Chicago Barack Obama met Sanjay Dutt and he was shocked to see the popularity of Sanjay Dutt. “ He also added that, “ One day Sanjay Dutt was walking with Barack Obama and suddenly Dutt’s fans mobbed him and they chanted Munna Bhai! Barack Obama was shocked as he was left waiting on the sideline.
