After starring in multistarrer Devadas – Sriram Adittya’s directorial venture in which he shared the screen space with Natural Star Nani, now once again, Akkineni Nagarjuna is going to act in a multistarrer. But this time Nagarjuna will be seen in his son Naga Chaitanya‘s film and he will make his screen presence in the role of grand father.
It is known news that Nagarjuna has decided to do a prequel to his blockbuster movie Soggade Chinni Nayana (SCN) and he has registered ‘Bangarraju’ for the title of the sequel. Once again the prequel will be helmed by Kalyan Krishna. The story is going to revolve around the story of Bangarraju. According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Naga Chaitanya will be seen playing the grandson role of Bangarraju essayed by Nagarjuna in the movie.
The regular shoot of the film will be started very soon. Currently Akkineni Naga Chaitanya is busy in his upcoming multistarrer Venky Mama in which Venkatesh Daggubati is playing the important role. The sources say that after wrapping up the shoot of Venky Mama, Naga Chaitanya will join the sets of Nagarjuna starrer Bangarraju.
Soggade Chinni Nayana was made on a budget of Rs 20 Cr and its theatrical rights were sold for rs 18 Cr. The movie has grossed over Rs 70 Cr at the worldwide box office and earned Rs 45 Cr for its distributors. SCN was the highest-grossing movie in the career of Nagarjuna. The movie was about a widow seeking the help of her husband’s spirit to save her son’s marriage. Nagarjuna has played dual roles as Cardiologist Ram Mohan and Bangarraju in the movie.
On the otherside, Currently Naga Chaitanya is also busy in his upcoming romantic entertainer Majili in which he is sharing the screen space with Samantha Akkineni. The movie is being directed by Shiva Nirvana.
