Nagarjuna next with Naga ChaitanyaNagarjuna and Akkineni Naga Chaitanya are going to team up for an upcoming movie Bangarraju, a sequel to Soggade Chinni Nayana, say sources.  According to the latest update, Akkineni Nagarjuna has given green signal to the director Kalyan Krishna Kurasala for Bangarraju. Nagarjuna’s elder son Akkineni Naga Chaitanya will also be seen playing crucial role. The sources claim that both Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya will have equal roles in this upcoming drama, which will be bankrolled by Nagarjuna himself.

Soggade Chinni Nayana, directed by Kalyan Krishna Kurasala was released in 2016, on the occasion of Sankranthi and turned out decent hit at the box office. Apart from Nagarjuna, the film has other stars Ramya Krishna, Lavanya Tripathi, Nassar,  Pithamagan Mahadevan, Sampath Raj and Brahmanandam.

Soggade Chinni Nayana revolves around the soul of Bangarraju, a flirtatious  zamindar whom Yama sends back to earth to reconcile his son and his wife Seetha; they are on the brink of divorce. Now Kalyan Krishna Kurusala is going to make its sequel, which is titled as  Bangarraju.

Nagarjuna who was last seen in Ram Gopal Varma’s action drama Officer, is currently busy in his upcoming big budget Bollywood movie Brahmastra, which is being bankrolled by Karan Johar, in which Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are playing the lead roles whereas Moni Roy and Amitabh Bachchan are playing crucial roles. Apart from Brahmastra, Nagarjuna will also be seen in Telugu movie Devadasu in which he is playing gangster and Natural Star Nani will be seen playing doctor.

 Meanwhile Akkineni Naga Chaitanya is busy in upcoming movie Savyasachi and Sailaja Reddy Alludu. Very soon Naga Chaitanya will share the screen space with his wife Samantha Akkineni for an upcoming film in the direction of Shiva Nirvana.

Kalyan Krishna Kurasala’s previous directorial venture Nela Ticket starring Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja and Malvika Sharma, was bombed at the box office.
