King Nagarjuna said on Wednesday that he had received the first dose of the covid-19 vaccine. The information about the same was shared by Nagarjuna on social media.

Manmadhudu 2 star took to twitter to share pictures of him receiving the first jab of the vaccine.  Officer actor Nagarajuna said, “Got my covaxin jab yesterday, absolutely no down time I urge whoever is eligible to take the vaccine!!”

Nagarajuna was also seen wearing a mask while a nurse administered the Covid-19 vaccine.

61 years old Nagarjuna  is the latest Indian celebrity to have received the Coronavirus/Covid-19 vaccine, after veterans like Mohanlal, Satish Shah, Jeetendra, Hema Malini, Paresh Rawal, Kamal Haasan, Anupam Kher, Rakesh Roshan, and Johnny Lever.

On 1st March, the government launched the nationwide drive to vaccinate everyone above 60 years of age and those aged between 45 and 59 with co-morbidities.

On the work front, Nagarjuna will be seen playing the role of NIA Officer in an upcoming action thriller drama Wild Dog which has Dia Mirza as the leading lady.  The movie Wild Dog, helmed by Solomon, is gearing up for the grand release on  2nd April. He will also be seen playing a crucial role in Hindi big budget film Brahmastra which has Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor  in the lead roles.
