Akkineni Nageswara Rao widely known as ANR, was an Indian actor and producer, known for his works majorly in Telugu cinema. He starred in many landmark films in his seventy five year career, and became one of the most prominent figures of Tollywood. He started his acting career with the movie ‘Dharmapatni’ in 1941 and then became a hero in 1944 by playing the role of Sri Rama in his second film ‘Sri Sitarama Jananam’. ANR won many titles in his seven decades of film career. Today is Akkineni Nageswara Rao’ birth anniversary and on this occasion Nagarjuna remembered ANR.
On Akkineni Nageswara Rao’ 97th birth anniversary, Akkineni Nagarjuna took to his twitter, shared a pic of ANR and wrote: Remembering Nana on his birthday. On the work front, Nagarjuna will grace the big screens with the action drama, The Ghost which has Sonal Chauhan as the leading lady. Helmed by Praveen Sattaru, the movie also has Gul Panag, Manish Chaudhari, Ravi Varma, Anikha Surendran, Srikanth Iyengar and others in the important roles.
