One of the most highly anticipated sequels in Telugu film Industry, Akkineni Nagarjuna’ Bangarraju is expected to go on the floors this July. The film, which is a sequel to Nagarjuna’ hit film Soggade Chinni Nayana, has been in the pipeline for quite some time now and sources close to the makers revealed that the film will go on floors as soon as the Coronavirus situation gets better.
Bangarraju is very close to Nagarjuna’ heart and it’s been in the pipeline for a long time. Due to various issues with the scripting followed by the Coronavirus pandemic, the movie has been getting delayed. According to the makers, the upcoming film will go on floors on a priority basis. Akkineni Naga Chaitanya has apparently agreed to Nagarjuna’ proposal and soon he will be seen sharing the screen space with Officer actor in Bangarraju.
The sources revealed that the makers of Bangarraju approached a few young actors for an important role in this sequel but the things did not materialize. Later when Nagarjuna asked Naga Chaitanya he gave his nod.
Kalyan Krishna is penning the final draft currently for this film, which will be bankrolled by Nagarjuna himself.
On the otherside, currently Nagarjuna is working with Praveen Sattaru for a film.
