Akkineni Nagarjuna is getting ready to entertain his fans and the movie lovers with his cop avatar. According to the latest update, Akkineni Nagarjuna has signed an upcoming action and romantic drama, which will be helmed by Solomon, the co-writer of Vamshi Paidipally’s movies Oopiri and Maharshi. Currently, the film is in the pre-production stage and it is expected that the upcoming untitled film will go on the floor in the month of December. In Solomon’s directorial venture Nagarjuna will be seen in cop avatar and will wear Khakhi Uniform.
The upcoming flick of Nagarjuna will be bankrolled by Matinee Entertainments and currently, the team is in the hunt of the female lead. It is heard that the makers are planning to rope a newbie in Nagarjuna starrer to play the female lead. The more detail regarding Nagarjuna and Solomon’s project is awaited.
Nagarjuna was last seen in romantic and family entertainer Manmadhudu 2, directed by Rahul Ravindran and jointly produced by Nagarjuna Akkineni, P Kiran under Annapurna Studios, Anandi Art Creations, Viacom18 Motion Pictures banners. Rakul Preet Singh played the female lead but unfortunately, the movie received a mixed response by the movie lovers and critics on its opening day and ended up commercially flop at the box office and now Nagarjuna is planning to make his comeback in Khakhi avatar with Solomon’ directorial venture.
Recently it was heard that Nagarjuna is also planning to act in Bangarraju, in the direction of Kalyan Krishna but to date no any official announcement regarding this project. Currently, Nagarjuna is also busy in his upcoming Bollywood movie Brahmastra where he will essay the role of an archaeologist and he has already shot for his portions in Varanasi in June. The Manmadhudu 2 actor Nagarjuna shot for his portions at Kashi Vishwanath Temple, the Chet Singh Fort and on the banks of Ganga.
