TDP MLA and actor Nandamuri Balakrishna underwent a shoulder injury to treat the rotating cuff muscle on Saturday at the Continental Hospital. The surgery was performed successfully by Consultant Orthopedic Surgeons Dr Deepti Nandan Reddy and Dr Ashish Babulkar. According to the latest update, Balayya was discharged from the hospital today morning. While this comes as a relief, the disappointing news is that the actor will be out of action for 5-6 weeks. This means Balayya Babu will not be shooting for at least a month and a half.
During the shoot of Krish’s directorial venture ‘Gautmiputra Satakarni’, Balakrishna fell from a horse on his right shoulder. But since then, his shoulder pain with a series of shoots has become intensified. After that film, he acted in Puri Jagannadh’s Paisa Vasool and KS Ravikumar’s Jai Simha.
Balayya will soon start the shoot for NTR, a biopic on his iconic father in the direction of Teja who also helmed Nene Raju Nene Mantri starring Rana Daggubati and Kajal Aggarwal. Nandamuri Balakrishna will also be one of the producers. Interestingly, controversial film maker Ram Gopal Varma is all set to make a biopic on the actor-politician but from the point of view of NTR’s second wife.
