Nanditha Raj has been roped in an upcoming woman centric movie Viswamitra, is said to be based on real incident, to play the female lead role in the direction of Raj Kiran.
The Telugu film industry has come quite a long way in terms of the type of movies being made. Earlier, the focus was on hero-centric films, but in the recent years, there are more and more film makers leaning towards making female-centric films. The top leading ladies, Anushka Shetty, Nayantara, Priyamani,Trisha are popular for woman centric movies. Nanditha Raj made her debut Telugu film industry with the film Neeku Naaku Dash Dash, directed by Teja and came in lime light after delivering her second film Prema Katha Chitram, which bagged her a Filmfare Award for Best Actress nomination. Now according to the latest update, the talented actress Nanditha Das has signed an upcoming female centric movie titled Viswamitra, being helmed by Raj Kiran. The sources say that the movie Viswamitra is based on real life incidents that happened in US and Switzerland and it is being bankrolled by Madhavi Addanki and Rajinikanth.
The regular shoot of Viswamitra has been already started. The sources say Like Raj kiran’s earlier movies, in this upcoming film Viswamitra too, there will be elements that create curiosity. The dialogues are written by director Jakkanna director Akella Vamsi Krishna and the cinematography is being handled by Anil Bhandari.
Raj Kiran has worked for popular movies like Geethanjali, Luckkunnodu, Tripura. The film Viswamitra is a women-centric one, similar to the director’s earlier films Geethanjali and Tripura.
In Tollywood, Nanditha Raj has worked for several hit movies like Jai Lava Kusa, Sankarabharanam. She was last seen in Kathalo Rajakumari, where she made her screen presence as guest appearance. Now this time Nanditha Raj has to prove that she has ability to carry a film solely on her shoulders.
