Nani starrer Bhale Bhale Magadivoy, which was released in 2015, was one of the biggest blockbuster in the actor’s career. Bhale Bhale Magadivoy has shattered the lifetime business record of blockbuster Telugu movies like “Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu” [SVSC], “S/o Satyamurthy”, “Baadshah” and “Race Gurram” in the country. It was directed by Maruthi Dasari, in which Lavanya Tripathi played the lead role. The movie Bhale Bhale Bhale Magadivoy was received lot of appreciations by the Telugu movie lovers because of its comedy. Bhale Bhale Magadivoy was remade in Tamil as Ghajinikanth in which Arya and Sayyeshaa Saigal played the lead roles. Unfortunately the Tamil version of Bhale Bhale Magadivoy received negative review from the movie lovers and critics.
Ghajinikanth is directed by Santhosh P. Jayakumar who had previously directed adult comedies like Hara Hara Mahadevaki and Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuthu with Gautham Karthik, and produced by K. E. Gnanavel Raja. Apart from the lead pair, Ghanijikanth has other stars like Karunakaran, Sathish, Kaali Venkat and Sampath Raj, in supporting roles. The Tamil audiences are not impressed with such type of comedy.
A big part of the enjoyment of the Telugu film Bhale Bhale Magadivoy was on account of Naturl Star Nani’s charms, and despite his evident comfort with the visual gags, it must be said that actor Arya doesn’t quite hold this story together in a way that his Telugu predecessor did. Arya tries to hold up the show gamely but with such poorly written character, he became fail to leave good impact on viewers. Finally the Tamil version of Bhale Bhale Magadivoy is being rejected by the audiences.
Meanwhile Natural Star Nani is currently sharing the screen space with Akkineni Nagarjuna in upcoming drama Devadas, which is progressing in the direction of Sriram Aditya. Apart from this film, he is also hosting the controversial reality show Bigg Boss 2 Telugu.
