Director Rahul Sankrityan’ upcoming Telugu directorial venture Shyam Singha Roy starring Natural Star Nani created a buzz when the film unit released the first poster of lead actor, where he was spotted sporting a twirled moustache.

A period drama that unfolds in Kolkata and Hyderabad and deals with the theme of reincarnation, Shyam Singha Rao also has Middle Class Abbayi fame Sai Pallavi, Madonna Sebastian and Kriti Shetty as the female leads, whereas Rahul Ravindran, Jisshu Sengupta, Murali Sharma and Abhinav Gomatam in important roles.  The art director Avinash Kolla has constructed a massive  temple set depicting Kolkata in a 10 acre land in Hyderabad. The set costed them Rs 6.5 Cr and the shoot of the film is currently going on in the set.

A 100 years old Kali temple set was erected. Over 1200 workers took 2 months to erect the special  Kali temple set that is spread across 10 acres in the outskirts of Hyderabad.

The sources close to the makers of Shyam Singha Roy revealed that the workers for the  temple set are flown down from West Bengal. The entire cast  of Shyam Singha Roy will take part in this shoot  schedule.

The upcoming film Shyam Singha Rao has the music by Mickey J Meyer. Sanu John Varghese is handling the cinematography and  Naveen Nooli is taking care of editing department.
