TDP chief leader Nara Lokesh made key remarks during Mahanadu. In the past, it was made clear that the doors will not be opened for those who thought to leave the party and come back. Lokesh’s comments that some may get a chance in the next election and some in 2029 are now increasing the tension among the aspirants.
Lokesh clarified that he is not announcing the candidates to the incoming candidates. He said that if anyone including him does not work, will not get the ticket. It has been clarified that the party chief will finalize the ticket.
Lokesh said that he is making only modest promises during the Padayatra that he can definitely fulfill when he comes to power.
He said that no one including himself would get a ticket if he sat at home without working or moving around. He said that the party leader will give clarity on the candidates who will contest in the next election. Some will get tickets in the next election and others in 2029. If you don’t work, you will never get it.
Lokesh asked how can we refuse if someone offers to work for the party. He revealed that Chandrababu will make an announcement today from the stage of Mahanadu about the welfare schemes to be undertaken by the party if it comes to power. In order to get rid of the unemployment problem, government jobs need to be replaced, private investments need to come. They said that private investments stopped during YCP regime. Now Lokesh’s comments on the finalization of tickets are causing tension in the party in-charge.
