On Wednesday, the general secretary of Telugu Desam Party, Nara Lokesh threw a challenge against YSR Congress leaders to prove the charges they had levelled against the TD leaders or face a defamation case. Lokesh said it has become a habit for YSRC leaders especially the Accused one and Accused two to level baseless charges and run away from the state.
Lokesh said it while taking part in the Idhemi Karma Mana Rashtraniki programme at Nidamarru in Mangalagiri assembly segment. The TD leaders did not commit even a single mistake in 5 years the party was in regime.
Lokesh visited the villages and interacted with the people. The locals submitted memoranda to Lokesh complaining that their houses were demolished by the officials without any reason. He asked, “If pollution is the reason, why the industries are not being chased out of the state, why is the Bharathi Cements still allowed to be operate.”
