Nara Lokesh to begin his one-year long padayatra on this date

Aiming to equip the party to win the 2024 elections and return it to power, the General Secretary of the Telugu Desam Party,Nara Lokesh would begin his statewide padayatra from January 27. The padayatra will start from Kuppam and will end at Itchapuram. Majority cities, towns and villages will in 175 assembly constituencies will be covered by the party chief Chandrababu Naidu in 12 months.

TDP leaders said, “The problems of women, farmers and different communities will be discussed and awareness brought about among the people through padayatra, which is seen as the way forward for bringing the party back to power in the upcoming assembly elections.”Besides raising the problems of the people, the issues of unemployment and other problems faced by the youth will be highlighted during the padayatra.

Amid speculations that Andhra Pradesh would have early elections, Lokesh changed the date of his padayatra to Jan 27 from October 2, 2023. The yatra is likely to continue till the announcement of the next election schedule. The route map for the yatra is being prepared to cover as many rural areas as possible from Rayalaseema to Uttarandhra region. The party is planning to have the Lokesh walkathon for three days in each assembly constituency. After finalising the detailed route map, public meeting places and spaces for local level accommodations, the party high command will announce complete details of padayatra officially.
