Narendra Modi congratulates Jagan Mohan Reddy

Narendra Modi has sent congratulatory message to YCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on his victory in Andhra Pradesh. Narendra Modi congratulated Jagan Mohan Reddy and Naveen Patnaik on their respective victories in Andhra Pradesh and Odisha.

Modi tweeted, “Dear @ysjagan, Congratulations on the remarkable win in Andhra Pradesh. Best wishes to you for a successful tenure.”

YSR Congress party, led by Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, is set to form government in the Andhra Pradesh state, ousting Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu‘s TDP. senior YSRCP leader Ummareddy Venkateswarlu said that YS Jaganmohan Reddy would take oath as the Chief Minister on 30th May.

YSRCP is leading in 145 seats of the 175 in the state assembly. Meanwhile, the TDP is leading in only 27 seats, and Pawan KalyanJana Sena Party in two seats. In the Lok Sabha polls too, the YSRCP is expected to sweep, with the party now leading in all 25 seats.

Modi congratulated Naveen Patnaik by tweeting “Congratulations to Naveen Babu for yet another victory in Odisha. Wishing him the very best for the next term.”

Naveen Patnaik is all set to become Chief Minister of Odisha for fifth term. He for the first time contested from two seats in the assembly elections.
