After delivering back to back hit movies such as Fidaa, F2: Fun and Frustration and Gaddalakonda Ganesh, actor Varun Tej has started the shooting for his upcoming film Boxer which is progressing in Visakhapatnam. On Twitter, Varun shared a picture of Arri Alexa camera and is elated to be back under arc lights and confirmed that he has started the shoot of his boxing drama, which is being helmed by Kiran Korrapati. Now according to the latest update, the makers have roped Naveen Chandra to play the main villain and he will be seen locking horns with Varun Tej.
Naveen Chandra will also be taking part in the shoot of Varun Tej starrer film which will last until March. Apparently, Naveen Chandra’s role will be menacing in this film. In the past, he has played the villain in Jr NTR starrer Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava under the direction of Trivikram Srinivas.
Varun Tej is essaying the role of boxer in this film. Reportedly, Mega Prince went to the US and trained under the 2008 Summer Olympics bronze medalist Tony Jeffries.
Varun Tej starrer is being produced by Siddhu Mudda and Allu Venkatesh, whereas it has music by SS Thaman. The makers are considering Saiee Manjrekar, to play the female lead in this film.
