Naveen Polishetty is a popular name in Bollywood and Tollywood. He made his debut in a lead role with Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya, for which he received Zee Cine Awards Telugu – Best Find of the Year. He later made his Hindi debut with Chhichhore in which late actor Sushanth Singh Rajput played the lead role.
He was last seen playing the lead role in comedy entertainer Jathi Ratnalu, which was a hit at the box office. After the release of Jathi Ratnalu, a lot of top production houses gave advances to him and booked his dates. Sithara Entertainments is one among them and they offered Naveen Polishetty around Rs 4 Cr advance for their project.
Apparently, a filmmaker who worked as a co-director for Nithiin and Keerthy Suresh starrer romantic drama Rang de has narrated a script to Naveen Polishetty but as the actor was not happy with the narration, said no. Finally the project was shelved. The sources say that Naveen Polishetty also returned the advance to the producer of Sithara Entertainments .
It is also being heard that UV Creations too gave an advance to the Naveen for a project, which is expected to go on the floor very soon.
