The action drama Akhanda, which recently completed 175 days run at the theaters, is one of the biggest hits in Balakrishna’ career. Currently he has been shooting for his new film which is progressing at the brisk pace under the direction of Gopichand Malineni. There were several film titles considered for the film. Sometime back, there was news that the movie will be named Annagaru. But now it looks like keeping the craze of Balakrishna in mind, the makers have chosen the title Jai Balayya for NBK107 and the official confirmation of the same will be made soon.
The makers have already released the first look poster that featured Balakrishna in an intense avatar wearing a black shirt sporting a salt and pepper look.
Krack fame Shruti Haasan is on the board to play the female lead in this film which has music by Thaman. The film makers have already given an update about its special songs and item numbers. Kannada actor Duniya Vijay is playing the villain while Varalaxmi Sarathkumar will also be seen in an important role.
Jai Balayya is bankrolled by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar whereas the cinematography is handled by Rishi Punjabi. The fans are super excited about Balakrishna starrer for multiple reasons, the most important being the collaboration of Balayya and Gopichand Malineni.
