Young actor Nikhil Siddharth starrer mystery thriller drama Karthikeya 2 is having a dream run at the box office. Without any doubt, the movie helmed by Chandoo Mondeti is smashing every possible record ever since the film opened in theatres. The movie emerged as the clean hit of 2022 and it is a remarkable feat of the film. Karthikeya 2 has collected Rs 28.50cr and it is inching closer to joining the Rs 30 cr mark alone in North.
According to the traders report, Karthikeya 2 has entered the top 10 list of biggest grossers among the south films in Hindi and it has crushed the collections record of Young Rebel star Prabhas starrer romantic saga Radhe Shyam and Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth starrer Kabali and Robot. It means Nikhil is bigger than Rajinikanth and Prabhas.
Apart from Nikhil, the Chandoo Mondeti directorial venture which was released on 13th August, also stars Anupama Parameswaran, Srinivasa Reddy, Anupama Kher, and Harsha Chemudu in the important roles. The film, whose prequel came out eight years ago in the year 2014, revolved around the search for Lord Krishna’s anklet in the sunken city of Dwarka.
