Recently it was heard that Telugu actor Nithiin has brought the Telugu remake rights of recently released Bollywood movie Andhadhun for a hefty price of Rs 3.9 Cr. Swamy Ra Ra fame Sudheer Varma is on the board to helm the remake of Andhadhun in which Nithiin will play the lead role. Until recently, there were reports that Nithiin will reprise Ayushman Khurrana’s act in the Telugu version. But now the sources close to Nithiin revealed that the actor is not ready to take up this risky project Andhadhun remake.
If the latest buzz is anything to be believed, Nithiin may not be acting in Andhadhun’ Telugu remake. Furthermore, Nithiin is planning to bring a young hero to play the main lead in this remake and a debutant to helm the movie. The upcoming remake will be bankrolled under the banner of Sreshth Movies along with Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. If everything will go accordingly, the upcoming film will go on the floor next year. However, we will have to wait for an official announcement from Nithiin’s production house for more clarity on these speculations. Sources close to the production house say that they are not in a hurry to go ahead with Andhadhun remake.
It is being heard that Thiyagarajan has acquired the Andhadhun remake rights and the film will be made in Tamil with his son Prashant. There are also reports that the Tamil remake would be directed by Gautham Menon.
On the other side, Nithiin is currently busy in his upcoming movie Bheeshma, in which he will be seen romancing with Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna. Hebah Patel is also the part of Nithiin starrer Bheeshma and according to the latest buzz, she will be seen playing the villain in this film. Bheeshma is directed by Venky Kudumula and produced by Naga Vamsi under the banner of Sithara Entertainments.
