Yesteryear actress Kasthuri made her debut in telugu film Industry with the movie Gang War which was released in 1992. She has appeared in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada language films. After winning the Miss Madras 1992 beauty pageant, Kasthuri started an acting career through Kasthuri Raja’s Aatha Un Koyilile in 1991. In the early 2010s, Kasthuri made a comeback and took on roles as a supporting actress and as a television host. Recently Samanthakamani actress participated in a talk show hosted by Ali. When Ali asked her, “Before you go to sleep if you get calls from three men.” She replied,” You should say “In my bed, there will always be three men”.
Kasthuri also revealed that she was the final contestant along with Aishwarya and Sushmitha Sen in Miss India. She has two children one daughter Studying 10th class and son studying 3rd class.
When Kasthuri was asked whether she would act as the mother of the young actor Vijay Deverakonda, she said, “There is no chance, I will not accept to play the mother role character for Vijay Devarakonda.”
In Tollywood, Kasthuri was last seen in multistarrer Samanthakamani, produced by V. Anand Prasad on Bhavya Creations banner and directed by Sriram Adittya, which was released in 2017.
