Megastar Chiranjeevi who made his comeback in Telugu film Industry with Khaidi No 150, is currently working for social message oriented movie Acharya, which is being helmed by Koratala Siva of Bharat Ane Nenu and Mirchi fame. It is known news that initially the makers roped Trisha Krishna in Acharya to play the female lead but she walked away from the project. Now the female lead of Chiranjeevi starrer has been locked and she is Kajal Aggarwal.
The shoot of Chiranjeevi and Kajal Aggarwal starrer Acharya has been halted due to Coronavirus lockdown. Before the lockdown, Nene Raja Nene Mantri fame actress was supposed to join the sets but she could not. Now the makers are planning to start the shoot without Kajal Aggarwal because currently she is in Mumbai and she has to come to Hyderabad to join the sets.
So, the scenes which have to be shot indoors and not involve Kajal Aggarwal are being planned by Koratala Siva. Acharya will go on the floors post the lockdown.
Koratala Siva has approached Mega Power Star Ram Charan to play the cameo in the film. Acharya will showcase Megastar as a Naxalite-turned-social reformer. While Mani Sharma is scoring the music , Regina Cassandra will be seen sizzling for a special number.
