As the health experts are trying to find out  the treatments and a cure for the novel coronavirus Covid-19, two drugs Chloroquine and Hydroxychloroquine are being promoted as a treatment for deadly virus. Donald Trump has touted the drugs- Chloroquine and Hydroxychloroquine, as a possible treatment for Covid-19 , Coronavirus.  It is approved for treating malaria, lupus and rheumatoid arthritis, but  Food and Drug Administration has not approved it to treat the coronavirus. On the otherside, a top doctor on White House’s coronavirus task force said, “There is no any magic drug for COVID-19.”

During an interview, Dr. Anthony Fauci revealed that there is no any drug for fighting coronavirus.

Anthony Fauci  added, “The drugs may be effective against the novel coronavirus, but more data is needed to show it is effective under the conditions of Covid-19.” That is the main reason, the United states Food and Drug Administration has not approved the drugs for coronavirus treatment.

The expert says when COVID-19 treatments do arrive, they will likely fall into two categories. The first will help slowing down replication of Coronavirus in patients at the early stage. The second will help  to stop the auto inflammatory response in  lungs in its critical stage.

In Arizona, a man passed away after reportedly taking a nonmedical form of Chloroquine used to fight parasites.
