The Malayalam film Ayyappanum Koshiyum, released earlier this year, soon turned out to be one of the most critically acclaimed, beloved and biggest hits. The movie starred Prithviraj Sukumaran as an ex-Army Havildar named Koshy Kurien, and Biju Menon as a police officer- Ayyappan Nair.
Now, the film is all set to be remade in Telugu with Power Star Pawan Kalyan already having been zeroed in for playing the lead role. Ayyappanum Koshiyum Telugu remake, will be helmed by Saagar Chandra and bankrolled by Naga Vasmi under the banner of Sithara Entertainments. According to the latest report, the film Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake will have only one lead actor Pawan Kalyan and there is no place for the second lead actor.
The sources say that Pawan Kalyan suggested the makers to make changes in the entire script of Ayyappanum Koshiyum . The other lead actor will be presented as the lead antagonist. The makers are also going to change the climax portions, considering Pawan Kalyan’s role. The creative and talented film maker Trivikram Srinivas will pen the dialogue version for this remake.
Ayyappanum Koshiyum Telugu remake of Pawan Kalyan will go on the floor next year Post Sankranthi and will hit the theaters during summer 2021.
