NOTA director confirms Murugadoss crucial role in Vijay Deverakonda filmMurugadoss is going to play crucial role in upcoming much awaited political thriller drama NOTA, which is being helmed by Kollywood director Anand Shankar of Arima Nambi and Iru Mugan fame. Young actor Vijay Deverakonda is making his Tamil debut with NOTA.  Yesterday Anand Shankar shared a pic of him with Kollywood talented and creative film  maker AR Murugadoss on his twitter and confirmed the news that Murugadoss is playing crucial role in Vijay Deverakonda starrer NOTA. He captioned it, “What a pleasurable moment! I was the director for my director who was today, the actor #NOTA.”

It is known news that NOTA, a bilingual Tamil- Telugu drama, is a political drama, in which Mehreen Kaur Pirazada is playing the love interest of Vijay Deverakonda.  Recently  the makers of NOTA released the trailer of the film, which received  thumbing response by the movie lovers and Vijay Deverakonda’s fans.  The sources close to the film unit reveal that director Anand Shankar convinced AR Murugadoss to play a crucial role.

 Currently the makers are canning important scenes with Murugadoss.  Earlier both Anand Shankar and AR Murugadoss have worked together for Thuppaki. Anand Shankar worked as an assistant director whereas AR Murugadoss was the director.

Apart from the lead pair, Vijay Deverakonda and Mehreen Kaur Pirazad, NOTA has other stars like  Sathyaraj, Nasser and others in important role.

In NOTA, Vijay Deverakonda will be seen essaying  the role of a politician, which is a first for the actor.

NOTA is written by Shan Karuppusamy with music by Sam CS. NOTA has Thaana Serndha Kootam’s art director Kiran, DOP Santhana Krishnan and Editor Raymond Derrick Crasta. According to trade sources, the distributors are quoting Rs 20 to Rs 25 Cr to grab the theatrical rights of NOTA. However, Anand Shankar and Vijay Deverakonda are expecting  Rs 30 Cr as the actor’s previous film Geetha Govindam, directed by Parasuram, was a blockbuster.
