 Plus points:

  • Vijay Devarakonda

 Minus Points:

  • Weak Story
  • No entertainment
  • No comedy

Performance: Once again the performance of Vijay Devarakonda is highlighted. He steals the show because of his screen presence. He looks energetic and rebellious. This is the first time, when Vijay Devarkonda acted in political drama. There are the movies that are predestined to be hits/flops and blockbusters. Rarely does a film release that needs to be cherished. NOTA directed by Anand Shankar is one such movie. But there is no entertainment in NOTA. It is a complete serious film on interesting plot and there are number of dragging routine scenes which resembles from few old political movies. Mehreen Kaur Pirzada gets limited screen space. Nassar, Yashika Aannand, and Sathyaraj are ok. M S Bhaskar, Priyadarshi and others justify with their roles.

Technical:  There is nothing special in the story of NOTA for Telugu audiences. The music and background score of Sam CS are good. The cinematography of Santhana Krishnan Ravichandran failed to elevate the scenes. The production values are good. The editing of Raymond Derrick Crasta left a lot to be desired.  There are many drags in this film  that test the patience of the audience.  The Screenplay of the film is not interesting.  Some of the political scenes and dialogues connect well with the crowd.

Analysis: Overall NOTA is a below average political drama. This time Vijay Devarakonda tries  to attract movie lovers with his political avatar  but becomes fail because of weak script. Finally it ended up testing the patience of the audience right from the start to climax. There are few scenes in NOTA which highlights the important political happenings in Tamil Nadu.
