What is the next film of Akhil Akkineni? Akhil, the younger son of King Nagarjuna, made his debut with Akhil:The Power of Jua, helmed by VV Vinayak, which was disaster at the box office. Later he made his come back with action and romantic entertainer ‘Hello’ which was also turned out commercially flop at the box office. The movie also marked the debut of popular filmmaker, Priyadarshan’s daughter, Kalyani.
After the release of Hello, Akhil revealed that he is all set for finalizing a film and zeroed in on two scripts for the same. He is in a dilemma over his next project. Even after four months post completion of Hello, Akhil is yet to announce his third film. Akhil is tight lipped about the project details.
The sources say that Akkineni Akhil is going to make a formal announcement about his third project on 8th April on the occasion of his 23rd birthday. It was speculated that Koratala Siva and Sukumar are the forerunners to helm Akhil’s next film. Later, the names for Ram Gopal Varma, Puri Jagannadh and Venky Atluri of Tholi Prema fame also cropped up. But nothing has been finalized till now. We have to wait and see if this brand new date will come with a clear announcement about Akhil’s third project.
