It is very well known that Super Star Mahesh Babu’s Sarileru Neekevvaru and Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapuramulo are clashing for this Sankranthi. Initially, the makers of both films have decided to release the movie on the same day i.e., on January 12th. Both were firm not to advance or postpone the release date. However, Active Telugu Producers Guild intervened in the scene and sorted out the issue. They made Sarileru Neekevvaru advance the release date by one day. Now, Mahesh Babu’s film will release on January 11th while Ala Vaikunthapuramulo will release as usual on January 12th. Now, both films are not only competing at the box office but also they are competing with promotions.
A few days back both the films gave a treat to respective star hero fans on the same day. From Sarileru Neekevvaru teaser has been released, Ala Vaikunthapuramulo team has released the third single from the movie OMG Daddy. While both the videos have gone well with the audiences, sources say that there will be one more clash when it comes to promotions. Sarileru Neekevvaru’s team has already announced that there will be an update from the movie every Monday till the movie releases. It is said that the first single from the movie will be released on the upcoming Monday i.e., on December 2nd. However, Ala Vaikunthapuramulo is coming up with a similar plan. They are now releasing the teaser of their film on the same day.
While it was Sarileru Neekevvaru teaser and Ala Vaikunthapuramulo song earlier, it will be vice-versa now. Going by the trend there will be few more promotional clashes before the big clash at the box office. Sarileru Neekevvaru is being directed by Anil Ravipudi while Trivikram Srinivas is directing Ala Vaikunthapuramulo. Both the movies are carrying immense buzz.
