According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Samantha Akkineni is going to collaborate with director Ashwin Saravanan, for an upcoming film. The sources say that Ashwin Saravanan is planning to make a woman centric movie with Samantha Akkineni. Ashwin Saravanan is popular for delivering Taapsee Pannu starrer Game Over.
His first film Maya with lady superstar Nayantara, the lead role was well received by the audience. Later he came up with Game Over, the multilingual drama in which Taapsee Pannu played the female lead. Now Ashwin Saravanan is going to make his next with Samantha Akkineni.
It is being heard that few days ago, Ashwin Saravanan met Samantha Akkineni at her residence in Hyderabad and both discussed about the possibility of their project. Ashiwn also narrated the script to Rangasthalam actress and she is very impressed with the narration. However, Samantha is yet to give her nod. If everything will go accordingly and Samantha gives her green signal, very soon the official announcement will be made regarding this project.
The sources say that Ashwin Saravanan’ next film will also be made in Tamil and Telugu languages. It has also come out that his third movie will belong to different genre and will not be dark like two.
On the other side, Samantha Akkineni is currently busy in the shoot of the second season of web series ‘The Family Man’ in Mumbai. She will be seen playing the role of a terrorist. Helmed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, the first season of the web series revolved around a middle class man, working for National Investigation Agency. Samantha’ character in this web series will have negative shades. She is waiting for the release of her upcoming film Janu, the remake of Tamil movie 96, where she is reprising the role essayed by Trisha. Directed by Prem Kumar, who had handled the original as well.
