As the NRC decision from the centre is making mixed sounds inside the country, it seems to be the heat of it has reached another country too. Today, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will be flying to India’s capital to hold bilateral talks with PM Narendra Modi. From the reports, it was known that the two leaders will jointly inaugurate the three bilateral projects via video link. Later which both the countries would be making several agreements.

From the reports, it is clear that Bangladesh PM is meeting with Modi to discuss over National Register of Citizens (NRC). The issue is with Assam and Bangladesh is also standing firm as it won’t accept any illegal immigrants on completion NRC procedure in the north-eastern Indian state. Bangladesh maintains that any alleged illegal immigrants in India don’t have the roots of Bangladesh. As there are about 19 lakh people who have left out of NRC in Assam, now, it is a big topic, how Modi and Sheikh Hasina will resolve this issue with the bilateral talks.
