NTR ruled the film industry for four decades. After that, he got a special identity for himself in politics as well. Born in a small town, he went to a level that no one expected. His life changed after entering the movies.
NTR had been interested in plays since his college days. As part of the college’s anniversary, he played the role of Nagamma in the drama Rachamallu Douthyam written by Viswanatha Satyanarayana. His acting career started from there. Later he played the role of Salim in the drama Anarkali. Later he received a prize for his excellent performance. In 1942, NTR married his uncle’s daughter Basavatarak.
He was selected as Guntur Sub-Registrar. During this time NTR also received some letters. They told him to come and get opportunities in movies. But he didn’t care much. Rama Rao ignored the letter. Once again he received a letter from LV Prasad. There are two letters in it. One letter was written by LV Prasad and the other was written by BA Subbarao. Directed by LV Prasad, this film Mana Desam was released in 1949. An advance check of Rs 200 was given. NTR was seen in the role of a police officer. After that the movies Palleturi Pilla and Shaukaru came out with NTR as the hero. The reason for these opportunities was LV Prasad. That’s how NTR’ acting career started.
