NTR biopic, which is being helmed by National award winning director Krish, is one of the most awaited movie, which is scheduled to hit the theaters next year. Today morning the makers of NTR biopic, has released a new poster, which is showing a new avatar of Nandamuri Balakrishna, who is playing the role of his father and late Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh- Sr NTR (Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao). Coming on the poster, Balakrishna is seen as Bandipotu and a cameraman is seen trying to capture the scene with a camera. The NTR biopic has been titled as ‘Kathanayakudu’. The poster also confirmed the news that NTR biopic- Kathanayakudu will be arrived at the theaters on 9th January 2019.

Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (Sr NTR), also marked his presence in the film industry as a producer, director and editor. Later in life, he served as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for 7 years over three terms.
Rana Daggubati will be seen playing the role of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Sumanth Akkineni is portraying the role of his grand father ANR in NTR biopic. Bollywood actress Vidya Balan, who is playing NTR’s wife Basavatarakam in Kathanayakudu, said she is very excited about her debut in Telugu film industry. NTR biopic (Kathanayakudu) is my first Telugu film, so I am very excited as I have never spoken and delivered dialogues in other language”
Bengali actor Jisshu, will be seen essaying the role of filmmaker and Dadasaheb Phalke awardee LV Prasad. He had launched NTR in films in 1949 with Mana Desam. Rakul Preet Singh, Murali Sharma and others are in important roles.
