NTR biopic- US Rights for Rs 20 Cr?

NTR biopic- US Rights for Rs 20 Cr?NTR biopic, which is being made in two parts- NTR Kathanayakudu and NTR Mahanayakudu, is one of the prestigious projects in Telugu film industry. Nandamuri Balakrishna is playing the titular role and will make his screen presence in the role of his father and late Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh.  The movie is also doing good pre-release business. According to the latest update, the theatrical rights of the film has been sold out for fancy price in some of the areas and the sources say that a top distributor is ready to offer Rs 20 Cr to grab the US rights of both parts- NTR Kathanayakudu and NTR Mahanayakudu. The discussion has been already started but the deal is yet to be closed.

 NTR biopic is being helmed by National award winning director Krish and is jointly bankrolled by Balakrishna, Sai Korrapati and Vishnu Induri under NBK Films, Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram, and Vibri Media banners whereas the film has the music by MM Keeravani.

Bollywood actress Vidya Balan is essaying the role of wife of NTR, Basavatarakam whom he married when he was 20 years old.  Baahubali actor Rana Daggubati is playing the role of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu whereas Sachin Khedekar will be seen playing former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Nadendla Bhaskara Rao.  Bengali actor Jisshu is portraying the role of filmmaker and Dadasaheb Phalke awardee LV Prasad.

 On the otherside, TDP (Telugu Desam party) is going to contest in 14 assembly constituencies in the ensuing Telangana elections in alliance with Congress party. Nandamuri Balakrishna has agreed to canvass for the party in few constituencies. It is heard that Producer V Anand Prasad is going to be fielded from Serilingampally constituency in Hyderabad on TDP ticket and Nandamuri Balakrishna will canvass for him. Earlier Balakrishna and V Anand Prasad have worked together for Paisa Vasool.
