NTR biopic is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated movie of the year. The film tells the tale of the late screen legend and political leader, Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. Nandamuri Balakrishna is reprising the role of his father and late Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh- NTR. NTR Mahanayakudu, the second part of NTR biopic, has completed the censor formalities and received U Certificate from the regional censor board.
This time the makers have taken special care regarding its run time. The makers have locked just 128 minutes run time for NTR Mahanayakudu, which is more than 30 minutes lesser run-time to that of NTR Kathanayakudu. Yesterday the makers of NTR Mahanayakudu also released the theatrical trailer, which has crossed 1 million digital views and currently trending in Hyderabad.
Vidya Balan is playing the role of NTR’s first wife Basavaramatarakam. The Dirty Picture actress didn’t get much space to showcase her performance skills in the first part. But she will be seen in full length role in NTR Mahanayakudu. Baahubali fame Rana Daagubati will be seen as current Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. Aamari is playing Lakshmi’s Parvathi. MM Keeravani composed the music.
NTR Mahanayakudu will mainly focus on NTR’s ascension as politician and the backstabbing episode of Nadendla Bhaskar Rao. The film’s story will end with NTR swearing-in as Chief Minister for the 2nd time.
NTR Mahanayakudu directed by Krish and jointly bankrolled by Nandamuri Balakrishna, Sai Korrapati, Vishnu Induri under NBK Films, Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram, Vibri Media banners. The movie is scheduled to hit the theaters on 22nd February.
