Rana Daggubati shared a photo with Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna and National award winning director Krish on his twitter, yesterday and said, “Coming together to tell you a story of an incredible human phenomenon called ‘N.T.RamaRao.’” In the evening, Baahubali and Ghazi fame Rana Daggubati met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu at his residence along with Nandamuri Balakrishna and Krish, who is directing NTR biopic. Rana Daggubati will be seen in NTR biopic as Mr. Chandrababu Naidu, who is NTR’s son-in-law. It is heard that the NTR biopic team discussed the biopic with the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. Bollywood actress Vidya Balan will be seen essaying the role of NTR’s wife Basavatharakam. Apart from them, Prakash Raj, Murali Sharma, and Kaikala Satyanarayana are also the part of NTR biopic.
AP CM Chandrababu Naidu told them that the government would come out with a policy on the film industry soon. It would also take steps to set up a Film and TV Institute with highest standards. Chandrababu Naidu assured that the government will provide all the required support for the development of film industry in the State. Andhra Pradesh has many natural and picturesque locations which are good for the shoot of the film.
Rana Daggubati and Krish said, “There will be many job opportunities for the youth if all the film shootings and movie making take place in Andhra Pradesh.” They also informed the CM Naidu about the progress of NTR biopic.
NTR biopic is being produced by Balakrishna, Sai Korrapati and Vishnu Vardhan Induri. Interestingly, they are also co-producing the Hindi version which is titled 1983 biopic. Balakkrishna is playing the role of his father and late Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. Sr NTR was a multi-talented personality. He was an Indian actor, producer, director, editor and politician who served seven years as the CM of AP.
