Former Odisha Chief Minister Giridhar Gamang joined the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) at party headquarters Telangana Bhavan in the presence of Chief Minister and party president KCR. This came 2 days after he resigned from the BJP- Bharatiya Janata Party.
Giridhar Gamang and his son Sishir had on announced their resignation from the primary membership of the BJP on Wednesday and now they have joined KCR’ BRS party.
A nine-term Lok Sabha MP Giridhar Gamang, his wife Hema Gamang, son Shishir Gamang, and other leaders from Odisha joined BRS at the BRS headquarters, Telangana Bhavan, in Hyderabad on Friday.
On this occasion KCR said that BRS is floated with a determination to change the future of country India and the thought and ideology of the country.
Telangana CM welcomed Giridhar Gamang, his wife and former MP Hema Gamang, son Shishir Gamang and other leaders into BRS fold.
KCR that joining Odisha former CM and supporters gives a great strength to the BRS. The leaders who joined BRS include Odisha BJP State Yuva Morcha General Secretary Sneranjan Das, Dhenkanal ex-MLA Nabin Nanda, Rabindra Mohapatra, Phalguni Sabar, P. Gopal Rao, Mallya Ranjan Swain, convenor of Navnirman Kishan Sangthan Akshay Kumar, Koraput Parliamentary Constituency Youth Congress President and AICC Member, Mayur Bhanj ex-MP Ramchandra Hansada, 6 other former MLAs and leaders of various parties and organizations.
