 Telangana Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy conducted a high level review on the Odisha train accident. A team of three IASs led by Minister Gudivada Amarnath was sent to the spot. Orders have been issued for setting up inquiry departments in the district collector’s offices.

CM Jagan reviewed the Odisha train accident incident. Along with the officials of the CMO’s office, they inquired about this accident. Officials said that according to the latest information, 237 people have died. It is explained that the number of injured is also huge. The officials explained the steps taken as per the orders of the CM. It is stated that we are getting information from the DRM officer of the area where the accident took place.

Officials told Jagan Mohan Reddy that they are also in constant touch with Odisha Chief Minister’s office officials. The CM ordered to send a team with three IAS officers headed by Industries Minister Gudivada Amarnath to the Balasore area where the accident occurred. Officials said that a team including Minister Gudivada Amarnath along with Civil Supplies Commissioner Arun Kumar, Commercial Tax Joint Commissioner Anand in Visakhapatnam and Naveen Joint Collector in Srikakulam is going. The officials explained that along with the instructions of the CM, the Collectors have also been instructed to set up inquiry units in each district collector’s office.

Jagan Reddy said to establish special cells in the offices of District Collectors to deal with grievances and respond immediately.
