It is official. Tamil actor Vijay and noted producer Dil Raju are collaborating for a film, presently referred to as Thalapathy 66. Today the makers have formally announced the collaboration and the upcoming project will be helmed by Vamsi Paidipally.
The producer Dil Raju said, “With immense pleasure and happiness we at Sri Venkateswara Creations announce our 1st ever Tamil Film with Thalapathy Vijay. We are excited about this much anticipated film and could not have asked for the better beginning than being associated with Thalapathy Vijay.”
Vamsi Paidipally’ previous directorial venture was Maharshi, starring Mahesh Babu, Allari Naresh and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles. The social message oriented movie was released in 2019. Vamsi is also known for his magnum opus Munna, Brindavanam, Yevadu, and Oopiri. The upcoming project Thalapathy 66 marks Vijay, Dil Raju and Vamsi Paidipally’ first project.
The reports are coming that the top notch technical team will be associated with this prestigious project Thalapathy 66. The other information regarding the title and the crew will be announced officially very soon.
According to the latest buzz, Dil Raju has offered him a huge remuneration to Vijay and he is getting over Rs 100 Cr to work in the movie, which is a big budget pan-India film.
