Today evening the makers of Liger officially announced the inclusion of Dynamite Mike Tyson in upcoming much hyped movie Liger which has Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Pandey in the lead roles. Puri Jagannadh directorial venture Liger will mark Mike Tyson’ first appearance in a Telugu movie.
As per the statement, Liger narrates the story of a mixed martial arts person will feature Iron Mike in a mighty role.
Bollywood producer Karan Johar, who is bankrolling the Hindi version of Liger, also confirmed the same on his Twitter handle today. “For the first time ever, the king of the ring will be seen on the big screens of Indian cinema! Welcoming Mike Tyson to the Liger team.”
The sources close to the makers revealed that Mike Tyson will make a cameo appearance in the climax portions of this upcoming Pan Indian film, which marks the first collaboration of Vijay Deverakonda and director Puri Jagannadh. The film Liger will feature Vijay Deverakonda as an MMA fighter with a stutter.
Apart from the lead pair, the film Liger also has Ramya Krishnan, Vishu Reddy, Ali, Ronit Roy, Makarand Deshpande and Getup Srinu in the crucial roles.
The entire team of Liger is currently in Goa and the makers are shooting for high-octane action sequences under the supervision of stunt choreographer Kecha.
